BME's success brings to 11 the number of Emir-approved clearing houses
Spain’s BME Clearing has become the latest
clearing house to win regulatory approval to clear derivatives
under new European rules set to take effect in 2016.
Spain’s financial regulator, Comisión
Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), authorised BME Clearing
on Wednesday to operate as a clearer under the European Market
Infrastructure Regulation (Emir).
