German exchange has launched in the past two months FX and swap futures
Eurex plans to go ahead with its launch of
Europe’s first variance futures on Monday despite
a backlog of projects that has left the German exchange unsure
how many clearing members will be live from day one.
A spokesman said: "Eurex is moving ahead with the launch of
variance futures on September 22. We have market-maker support
but it is not clear at this stage how many clearing members
will be live from day one."
