US broker has hired team to focus on commodities including energy
RJ O’Brien, the oldest and largest US futures
broker, has hired three senior commodities traders from UBS,
making the firm the latest to boost its London-based brokerage
following bank withdrawals from commodities trading.
The Chicago-based firm has hired in London Paul Goodhew as
its head of global markets, and Nicky Chalkley and Terry Foster
as vice presidents in its commodities broking unit. They will
be trading at RJO a range of commodities including energy.
