US platform Eris Exchange plans to take its swap futures
products global following its deal with the Montreal Exchange
(MX) to license the Eris methodology for Canadian dollar swap
Tough new US rules on margins for uncleared swaps has
boosted demand for the new breed of standardised swap futures
contracts, as end users look to avoid high costs of putting up
collateral for their swaps trades.
