Bangkok-based exchange is working with four smaller exchanges in the region
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has pledged to work
more closely with four neighbouring exchanges to harmonise
standards across their markets and boost investment in the
SET said on Thursday it has reached agreement with four
Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) exchanges, in Cambodia, Hanoi,
Hochiminh and Laos, to collaborate on various initiatives,
including the introduction of international accounting
standards and providing education to investors.
