LME Holdings and HKEx have yet to hear rulings on the cases against them
The London Metal Exchange has won a small victory in its US
legal case over aluminium warehouses after a US court threw out
the case against the LME over a legal technicality.
The southern district court of New York has thrown out the
case against the LME (but not LME Holding or LME owner Hong
Kong Exchanges and Clearing) because it found the LME is an
organ of the British government under the Foreign Sovereign
