Global volumes were propped up by growth in the US, particularly CME Group
Global exchange traded futures and options volumes declined
marginally year on year in July as volume rises in the US
partially offset declines in Asia, Europe and South
A total of 1.67bn contracts were traded in July 2014, a 2.3%
decline on the 1.71bn contracts that traded in that month last
year, according to FOW.com data.
