Merc was forced to postpone trading for four hours because of glitch
Trading on the CME Group’s Globex system has
returned to normal after a trading glitch forced the US
exchange group to postpone the opening of its trading system
for four hours on Monday.
CME was scheduled to open at 22:00 on Sunday but instead
opened at 02:00 Monday because of a technical problem linked to
software upgrades made by the exchange over the weekend.
