CME offers netting to members but some face huge administrative burden
CME Group members have voiced concerns over the
administrative burden that the new market data netting
programme will place on them when it begins next year.
The exchange group announced in November last year that it
will begin charging market data fees across all of its markets,
a move that was met with an angry response from the market.
The initial proposal, to charge an $85 monthly fee per user,
per screen, per market was met with consternation from many who
claimed that the cumulative impact of this model would result
in punitive charges.
