Newly independent exchange group records growth despite derivatives downturn
Euronext has reported a rise in quarterly profits before
exceptional expenses despite a fall in trading in equity
derivatives across its European markets.
The exchange group, which was spun off by
IntercontinentalExchange in an IPO in June, posted second
quarter profits before exceptional items of €53m, up from
