Vermaas quit as CEO of Dutch exchange on Friday after 12 years with the firm
CME Group is expected to unveil Cees Vermaas as the next
chief of CME Europe after the chief executive of Euronext
Amsterdam quit on Friday following weeks of speculation he was
being lined up for the job.
Euronext said late on Friday that Vermaas, the head of the
Dutch exchange and Euronext board member, had resigned and
stepped down from that position immediately without offering
any reason for the move.
