Republican commissioner famed for Dodd-Frank pragmatism will leave in August
The longest serving member of the Commodity Futures Trading
Commission is to stand down to "pursue other
Republican commissioner Scott O’Malia, who took
his seat at the CFTC in October 2009 announced his departure in
a resignation letter released last night.
O’Malia said that he was "especially proud of
the contribution I have made to advance the technology agenda
for the Commission."
