Broker says new service enables firms to make sense of huge swap data sets
Broker Tullett Prebon has launched a trade data feed for
interest rate swaps reported to the swap data repository (SDR)
run by the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation
The SDRs are new entities created in the US out of the Dodd
Frank Act to provide central facilities for reporting and
recordkeeping of over-the-counter derivatives.
As a result of the vast amount of swaps trades being
reported to the repositories, there has been an industry-wide
call to improve price transparency and bring pre and post trade
data to allow market participants to make sense of the
