LCH.Clearnet is first British-based firm to get its stamp
LCH.Clearnet, the clearing house majority owned by the LSE
Group, has become the first UK-based firm to win authorisation
to clear trades under new European rules set to take effect
The approval makes LCH.Clearnet’s London-based
operation the sixth European clearing house to win the support
of regulators and comes just one day after the
firm’s head of swap clearing said the
authorisation was "imminent".
