SwapClear chief exec Daniel Maguire said LCH.Clearnet's authorisation by European body is pending
LCH.Clearnet’s re-authorisation under new
regulations is 'imminent’ according to the central
counterparty’s global head of SwapClear, Daniel
Speaking at the IDX 2014 expo, leaders of
Europe’s largest clearing houses said where they
were in the process of approval under the European Markets
Infrastructure Regulation (Emir).
With LCH rivals Eurex and Nasdaq OMX already having
secured their re-authorisations, Maguire said he believed
LCH.Clearnet’s approval was on its way.
