British exchange to trade the full range of interest rate futures contracts
The London Stock Exchange Group plans to launch the full
suite of rates products in an all-out attack on European rivals
Liffe and Eurex when it goes live with its new derivatives
trading venture later this year.
FOW reported last month the British exchange group has hired
industry veteran Bill Templer to launch a new venue that will
trade deliverable swap futures.
FOW has now learned the London-based exchange group also
plans to list the full suite of six interest rate futures
contracts that currently trade on Liffe and Eurex at the short
and long end of the curve and together on NLX.
