Exchange follows SGX, CME, ICE and Eurex in reporting a slump in May trading
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing
(HKEx) has reported a decline in futures and options volumes
during May, completing the set of large global exchanges that
saw a trading slump last month.
Total derivatives volumes on HKEx
fell 13% to 9.7m, of which futures dropped 14% to 3.6m and
options trades declined 6.1m.
