The FCM is one of a number of brokers looking to expand its geographic coverage
The chief executive of Singapore-based Phillip Futures has
said the broker is interested in becoming a clearing member of
European exchanges, in a move that highlights the increasing
activity of Singapore-based firms.
The move into Europe will follow a trend that has seen
United Overseas Bank (UOB), Singapore’s third
largest bank, become a member of German derivatives exchange
Eurex in May.
