Global exchanges were hit by slower trading last month due to low volatility
IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) and Singapore Exchange (SGX)
are the latest groups to report a steep drop-off in activity
last month as trading levels continue to fall in the
world’s main markets.
ICE’s commodity and financial derivatives
trading fell 27% and 13% to 46.2m and 70.9m contracts
respectively in May, while SGX volume dropped a quarter to 8.1m
