ICE-owned exchange delays launch of bond challenge to rivals Eurex
has delayed the launch of its new suite of government bond
futures to June 16, which includes the introduction of German
Bund, Bobl and Schatz contracts.
German government bond futures come as a direct challenge to
market-dominating and highly liquid offerings, and
represent Liffe’s biggest launch under its new
ownership of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).
