Dutch power exchange is set to intensify competition with local rivals
ICE Endex is set to introduce German
power derivatives on June 10 as its first new product launch
for the exchange since it transitioned its business onto ICE
Futures Europe last October.
The launch of the contracts comes as
activity on the platform has more than tripled compared to
April last year, in which the Dutch-based energy exchange has
benefited from a rise in trading and clearing members and
from ICE’s geographical reach.
