CEO Rolet will address the exchange's futures and acquisition plans
The LSE Group will face on Thursday questions over its plans
to roll out a new futures exchange in London and its possible
takeover of Frank Russell, the asset management and index
group, writes Luke Jeffs.
The LSE will announce early on Thursday its full year 2014
results before holding a conference call for press and analysts
who will push LSE chief executive Xavier Rolet for more detail
on the British exchange’s futures plans and the
latest on its talks with Frank Russell.
FOW reported last week that the LSE Group has lined up
former Morgan Stanley and UBS futures head Bill Templer to run
a new derivatives venture that is working on swap futures.
