The Merc has signed with Six Securities to offer segregation of collateral posted for clearing
CME Group has launched Europe’s first fully
segregated collateral management service with Swiss post-trade
group Six Securities, writes Jonathan Watkins.
The service, which went live on Monday, allows segregated
collateral to be placed with an external custodian through CME
Clearing Europe, offering investors enhanced protection for
bankruptcy scenarios, according to the US exchange group.
