Jeff Sprecher said the Liffe interest rate futures business was set to grow again
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) chief executive Jeffrey
Sprecher believes volumes are returning to the
group’s interest rate derivatives suite,
highlighting strong growth trends among some of the products,
writes Jonathan Watkins.
"Daily volumes have returned and in some cases exceeded
pre-crisis levels and this is despite a low interest rate
environment impacting our benchmark short term contract the
Euribor future," said Sprecher.
