The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has banned former UBS
trader John Hughes for failings related to the $2.4bn
(£1.4bn) trading losses caused by Kweku Adoboli in 2011,
writes Jonathan Watkins.
According to the British regulators decision, Hughes was the
most senior person on the exchange-traded funds desk where
Adoboli worked and should have been a role model to others.
