Andreas Preuss' Eurex is partnering with smaller exchanges in Asia and beyond
The chief executive of Eurex has outlined the advantages of
partnering with smaller exchanges in growth markets as he
detailed the next phase of an existing partnership with the Tel
Aviv Stock Exchange, writes Luke Jeffs.
Andreas Preuss, who has cut recent deals with various
exchanges in Asia, said these types of cross-listing
arrangements, which can also involve the purchase of small
stakes, can be mutually beneficial.
"I view this as an intelligent format for the greater
distribution capabilities of the respective exchanges and I
would not be surprised if this approach is embraced by other
contenders in our industry," Preuss said in London on
