The US exchange group has now won the brief to run both the ISDAFIX and Libor benchmark rates
IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) has been chosen to administer
the ISDAFIX swaps benchmark, making the US exchange group the
manager of two of the most widely used benchmarks in the
derivatives market, writes Joe Parsons.
ICE will now administer the ISDAFIX rate, the global
benchmark for interest rate swaps, and the London-interbank
offered rate (Libor), the main overnight bank lending rate.
