The US futures regulator has added to the obligations for European venues trading in the US
The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission
(CFTC) has told European trading firms they must comply with
additional requirements if they want to keep trading in the US
after a period of relief ends in six weeks, writes Joe
European multi-lateral trading facilities (MTFs) will have
to submit monthly reports to CFTC staff on their levels of
swaps activity with US persons and will be required to report
all swap transactions to a CFTC-registered or
provisionally-registered swap data repository.
