Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) has hired from NYSE
Euronext Cecelia Zhong as its new head of China business
development to grow the exchange’s Asian
commodities franchise, writes Joe Parsons.
Zhong, the former head of Greater China at NYSE Euronext,
now-owned by the IntercontinentalExchange, will help expand the
HKEx-owned London Metal Exchange’s business in
Asia as well as building a new commodities business in Hong
