Nasdaq OMX Clearing has completed its acquisition of
Norwegian central counterparty (CCP), NOS Clearing, enabling it
to clear a new suite of commodities derivatives, writes
The acquisition will see integration of NOS
Clearing’s staff and products to Nasdaq OMX
Clearing, which became Europe’s first CCP to
receive approval under the European Markets Infrastructure
Regulation (Emir) last month.
