European multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) have been
given more time to register and comply with new swaps rules in
the US, writes Joe Parsons.
The European platforms had until the beginning of this week
to apply to trade swaps under the new
electronic regime in the US, but the Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC) has now extended the deadline.
