BNP Paribas has acquired the equity
derivatives arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland in

The French bank said on Wednesday the
acquisition, which is expected to close in the first half of
this year, is part of its plan to boost further its equity
derivatives business following key hires and the acquisition of
Crédit Agricole’s trading portfolio.
