Electronic trading pioneer Juerg Spillmann is to be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the upcoming FOW International Awards dinner.
Mr Spillmann, who currently serves as a Eurex board member
and deputy chief executive of Eurex Clearing, has been at the
forefront of the industry for the past 25 years and pioneered
the electronic revolution in the markets during the 1990s.
He joined the Swiss exchange Soffex in 1987 tasked with
designing the world’s first fully integrated
electronic derivatives exchange, which went live in 1988.
