clearing transition to ICE Clear Europe, moving across 43
member firms with 75m contract sides and $11.17bn in
The clearing agreement was one of
the major elements of the historic $8.2bn planned merger deal
agreed between the two exchanges.
Merging the two under one clearing
service is claimed to introduce significant margin efficiencies
and enable economies of scale, increasing clearing competition
in the European market.
