Philip McBride Johnson, who has been leader of the exchange-traded derivatives regulatory practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Washington, is to leave the law firm on December 31.
He intends to
remain active in the policy-making circles of the derivatives
Johnson, who was chairman of the Commodity
Futures Trading Commission from 1981 to 1983, had been at
Skadden since 1984, advising clients on many aspects of the US
Johnson has been an FOW and FOi columnist
