BM&F Bovespa expects to benefit from more customer access
to the exchange after software vendor SunGard launched new
ASP-based market connectivity services in September.
Cícero Augusto Vieira, chief operating officer of
BM&F Bovespa, said the new connectivity could expand the
number of trades executed using direct market access, a strong
growth area for the exchange.
"DMA order routing brought almost a 50% increase of trades
in July, in comparison with 112,600 in June. With its ASP-based
market connectivity services, SunGard can help us gain new
local and international trading customers."
