Software vendor FFastFill has appointed Edward Condon as a
managing director, based in New York. Condon, 52, was
previously chief executive of GoMarkets, a provider of business
efficiency technology owned by GlobeOp Financial Services.
FFastFill said Condon would be responsible for the
"execution of FFastFill’s business strategy, with
particular emphasis on North America and business
At GoMarkets, Condon developed and distributed technology
products for the hedge fund industry, focusing on treasury
optimisation, performance transparency, data management, trade
execution, straight through processing and direct exchange
Before that, Condon was managing director of
CSFB’s European listed derivatives business from
1997 to 2004.
Condon, a US national, came to London in 1993 to head JP
Morgan’s floor operations at Liffe, after 11 years
at the CBOT and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a floor
manager, trader, and broker.
Condon will report to Patrick Thornton-Smith,
FFastFill’s London-based managing director of
sales and marketing.
