Dominique Cerutti, general manager of IBM southwest Europe, is
to replace Jean-François Théodore as deputy chief
executive and global head of technology at NYSE Euronext in
December, subject to regulatory approvals.
Cerutti will also become president of Euronext Paris and
chairman of the managing board of Euronext NV. He will report
to Duncan Niederauer, chief executive of NYSE Euronext.
Cerutti, who will also join NYSE Euronext’s
management committee, will oversee global technology, with
responsibility for business operations, customer relations and
competitive position in Europe. He will be based in the
exchange’s European headquarters in Paris.
Cerutti, 48, has spent 23 years at IBM. He has led all its
business operations in southwest Europe and is responsible for
IBM’s financing arm IBM Global Financing. Before
that, he was general manager of IBM’s global
services division in Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in
Théodore, who retires at the end of the year, will
remain a director of the company, again subject to regulatory
