NYSE Liffe US will launch three equity index futures linked
to the MSCI USA, Emerging Markets and EAFE indices on September
8 — the first contracts to be rolled out since the
exchange struck a licensing deal with MSCI in February.
Thomas Callahan, executive vice-president and head of US
futures, said the bourse had received a "highly positive"
response to the contracts from market participants.
