CME Group has appointed Timothy Andriesen as managing
director for agricultural commodities. He joins from National
Australia Bank’s NabCapital in New York, where he
was a managing director for agribusiness.
Andriesen has also worked as managing director for
commodities and commodities sales in NabCapital’s
Sydney office, and as senior vice-president of commodities,
based in New York.
Before this he held various risk management and agricultural
trading positions with Zurich Capital Markets, Louis Dreyfus
Corporation, Rabobank International and Koch Industries.
Andriesen will be responsible for developing and executing
the global business and sales strategy for CME’s
agricultural commodities product line.
He will report to Barry Goldblatt, managing director for
commodities, equities and energy products, and be based in
Goldblatt said the appointment of Andriesen would help the
exchange’s efforts to list more over-the-counter
