Rupert Robson and Michael Lockwood have joined the board of
the London Metal Exchange. Robson will replace Charles
Stonehill as an independent director, while Michael Lockwood
fills a vacancy for an invited director.
Robson has been global head of the financial institutions
group in the corporate, investment banking and markets division
of HSBC. Before that, he was a managing director in global
markets at Citigroup, and a managing director of J O Hambro
He is a non-executive chairman of Charles Taylor Consulting
and Silkroutefinancial Group, and a non-executive director of
Tullett Prebon, the interdealer broker.
