More bans in India as commodities threat grows
Indias agricultural commodity markets were left teetering
on the brink as soybean oil, potatoes, chick peas and rubber
were added to the list of products banned from futures trading.
Regulator Forward Markets Commission confirmed that it has
written to Indias exchanges requesting that relevant
contracts be delisted until further notice, adding that trading
will not resume for at least four months.
