Commodity Futures Trading Commission to get more funds
Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is in line for a
sizeable budget increase for the coming year.
The Bush administration recommended a $130m budget for the 2009
fiscal year, up from $112m for the 2008 budget. If approved by
Congress, CFTC plans to boost its staff count and surveillance
