Trading Technologies (TT) has scored a another victory at the
US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) when its second MD
Trader patent was affirmed by the agency.
Both patents were challenged at the USPTO last August by an
anonymous firm or group represented by the law firm of Brinks
Hofer Gilson & Lione. Brinks argued that it had prior art
that invalidated TTs patents, including software used by
Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), Amazon.com and Friesen.
