Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has followed similar footsteps
to rival New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) by acquiring an
OTC energy broker. ICE has bought Chatham Energy Partners for
an undisclosed amount nine months after Nymex purchased a 19%
stake in natural gas OTC broker, Optionable only months before
the company lost around $407m in the energy market. This
