The network, in development over the past 15 months, will
connect customers to 85 exchanges worldwide using several RTS
data hubs around the world. Those data centres are located
close to exchanges for optimal order execution times.
RTS' network supplants the traditional trading path of
customer order - to broker - to exchange by offering customers
more direct access to exchanges and integrating contract data
directly from the exchanges. Execution times differ depending
on the physical location of a trading desk, third-party data
vendors, internal pipelines and other software, but RTS
