FCM's have called for ISV's to improve their automated
trading systems, describing necessary improvement as "critical
and key", in a time of increase trading volumes.
Speaking at a GL Trade summit in London, Nigel Walton, vice
president and global operations manager at JPMorgan Securities
was damning of the performance of the system. "I will be
critical of Clearvision. I do not think that Clearvision is
good enough or up to the job at the moment," he said.
Walton stressed that problems in the industry are evident
and this is illustrated by the difficulties incurred throughout
March by FCM's, coupled the existence of give-ups.
