Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) is being sued by a pension
fund for the handling of its proposed sale to Chicago
The suit, filed by Louisiana Municipal Police Employees'
Retirement System, alleges that CBoT's board of directors
breached their fiduciary responsibilities to shareholders by
not considering offers other than that presented by CME and for
not securing the highest price for the exchange.
