London Metal Exchange (LME) has appointed Emma Davey as
market analyst of its soon-to-be-launched OTC clearing
Davey joins LME after leaving financial services publishers
FOW, where she spent 20 years in a variety of roles,
culminating in that of editorial director.
The position was to become effective on 9 January when Davey
would report to LME CEO, Martin Abbott. A prototype of the
platform was targeted for launch in the first half of the year
with the first product to go live likely to be monthly average
metals swaps. This could be followed by other, more minor
metals contracts not currently traded on the exchange, Abbott
told FO Week at the end of last year (see FO
Week Vol 11 No 49).
