International Securities Exchange (ISE) announced on 20
September plans to list foreign currency options as it
continued to expand its product portfolio.
The new product suite, called ISE FX options, was expected
to launch with four US dollar currency pairs - dollar-euor,
dollar/pound, dollar/yen and dollar/Canadian dollar - in the
first quarter of next year, pending regulatory approval. The
contracts were to be traded as security options and have been
directed at retail and institutional investors.
